I moved with my family to Petaluma in 1971.  I attended La Tercera Elementary School, Kenilworth Junior High School, and graduated from Casa Grande High School in 1983.  I played football and baseseball at Casa. 

I received my A.A. degree from Santa Rosa Junior College, and received my B.A., teaching credential, and M.A. in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University, where I was also a member of the baseball team in 1984.  I began my teaching career at Santa Rosa Junior High in 1992, and have been teaching at Kenilworth continuously since 1994.

I spent three years in the late 1980's coaching football and baseball at Casa Grande, and I also coached volleyball and track for many years at Kenilworth.  I was also Kenilworth's athletic director for eight years.

These days I enjoy traveling with my wife during my off time - especially to Lake Tahoe!  I also enjoy working out at my local health club in rohnert Park and walking my Yellow Lab Jackson.  I feel very lucky to be a P.E. teacher at Kenilworth!
