    Christina Lee Bridges

I was born in Fiji but have lived in Petaluma my entire life and am highly immersed in the community here. I actually attended my senior prom at Casa! I attended Sonoma State University for my undergraduate degree in English Literature with a pre-service teaching focus, and I went to San Francisco State University for my graduate degree in Educational Administration. I worked as a high school English and ESL teacher in Petaluma and Novato for 10 years before moving into secondary administration at Casa Grande High School.

After spending the last 4 years working as an assistant principal at CGHS, I am enthusiastic and honored to be leading the school as your principal. I am dedicated and focused on providing consistency to the Casa community by developing systems, protocols, and processes that enable individuals to be their best selves when they are at school. I care deeply about school safety and work hard to ensure that Casa is a welcoming environment for all students to be highly successful both in and out of the classroom. I also want to highlight the amazing strengths of our students and staff, and work to bring people together through engaging community events where we can develop relationships and strengthen our understanding of what it means to be a Gaucho.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my son, Cash. I also love traveling and can often be found flying to a new city to explore and have fun or booking last minute tickets to a concert. I love new adventures and pride myself on being willing to try new things. I also have the world’s *best* admin team and am extremely fortunate to work with a team that I genuinely love and care about. I am deeply committed to our students and staff and am grateful for the trust and opportunity I have to support the Casa community. Next time you’re on campus, come by my office and say hi!

Luis GarzaI look forward to being a member of the Casa Grande Gaucho family. As Assistant Principal, I will strive to ensure that all students are college and career-ready when they graduate. Additionally, I will encourage each student to cultivate a love of learning that will inspire them to grow personally and professionally after high school. By providing meaningful learning experiences for our students during these formative years, we can challenge them to think and act in ways that make the world a better place.  My work will be to help learners look at their place in the world in order to identify how they can be of service to others.

Biography: I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California where I attended Garces High School and Bakersfield College. After two years in community college, I was the first in my family to attain an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts. In 1998, I transferred to San Francisco State University to study theater and education. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Drama in 2000, and I obtained a teacher's credential in English a year later.

I wanted to explore the world and connect with my roots, so, in 2002, I moved to Xalapa, Veracruz, in Mexico. I lived there for a year and had an amazing experience. I explored the Americas and met my lovely wife. She emigrated with me upon my return, and we relocated back to the Bay Area.

My first position as an educator was teaching English at Oakland Military Institute, a public charter school. I was placed as an English Language Development teacher. Because I wanted to learn more about serving English learners, I returned to San Francisco State University and received a master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Additionally, I became a national board-certified teacher of students studying English as a new language in 2015.

Recently, I finished my master’s in Educational Leadership and obtained my credential in administration. I decided to jump at the chance to come to Casa Grande as an Assistant Principal. The community here has been very welcoming, and I’m excited about starting our future together.

Erika Noone at her desk smilingI have been a Sonoma County resident for 35 years. I grew up in Sebastopol, and  I graduated from Analy High School. I attended the SRJC and Sonoma State, where I graduated with a Bachelors in Liberal Studies through the Hutchins Program. I then went on to earn my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, also through Sonoma State. I started teaching in 2006 in Rincon Valley. I decided to pursue my Administrative Credential and Masters Degree in 2011 through the University of Phoenix. I wanted to complete my Administrative Credential before I had children. I finished my program in February and six months later, my son was born and two years later, my daughter was born. Now that my children are both in school, I felt it was time to start my administrative career.

In my free time, I love being with my husband and kids. I like to play games and go on walks. I enjoy music and singing karaoke when I can. I also love the water. My family has a boat that we take out to Lake Sonoma whenever the weather is nice enough. Right now, my family is in the midst of building a home in one of the communities affected by the Tubbs fire. We love to entertain and hope to create a home that is welcoming and warm.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas about how we can improve our school.

I'm originally from Southern California but fell in love with Sonoma County when I attended Sonoma State University for my undergrad. I received my bachelor’s degree in Literary Analysis from Sonoma State and my master’s degree in teaching from USC. As one of the Assistant Principals, I am looking forward to continuing to build relationships with students, staff, and families throughout Petaluma. I have a passion and true belief in PBIS and Restorative Practices and and I am excited about helping Casa implement these systems. Most of all, I hope to be an effective advocate and support for our teachers.
