Mary Akers-Bell is a writer, doodler, and 4/5 teacher. A graduate of San Francisco State University’s masters in Language and Literacy, she came to Mary Collins at Cherry Valley in 2017. She taught English in Japan for three years, and grew up romping in the forests of the Midwest.
