• Our 1/2 acre of garden is a sight to behold!  From raised beds of vegetables, to flowering annuals and perennials, our students plant, harvest, taste and explore all of the gardens at Valley Vista. Our greenhouse area includes a pumpkin patch, kiwi vines, and a pallet herb garden. With two outdoor classrooms, we can take our learning outside any time we'd like—garden-related or not!  A read aloud at the top of the Native Plant Walk or an art activity under the awning in our main garden, we all know that getting outdoors is positive for students. Our three garden enrichment specialists, along with all our classroom teachers, enjoy taking students out into nature.
