      • We collected all of our caring acts for the month--chores, kind gestures, helpful acts.

      • Each class picked its own color, and we all came decked out!
    • WSR Special Spirit Day (May)

    2017-2018

    • Spirit Days
      • Student Council hosts spirit days throughout the year... pajama day, hat day, twin day, crazy hair day, and more!
    • Hats for Hurricane Relief
      • Students brought in one dollar each (or more) and earned the right to wear a hat to school on Friday.  All-day.  Even inside.  It was a HUGE hit!  We were raising money for Black Elementary School whose community suffered from the series of hurricanes at summer's end.  We were able to send our friends at Black Elementary over $1000 in supplies that they needed to start their year successfully. 
    • Pajama Day
      • October 20th was Pajama Day.  Thanks Student Council!  We needed that after missing a week of school due to nearby fires and evacuations.  It was a fun way to wrap up our week back together.
    • Crazy Hair Day
      • Friday, March 2nd was Crazy Hair Day this year!  So many creative, wacky, colorful hairstyles were seen all over campus.  
    • Class Color Challenge
      • Each class was given a color to wear on Friday, including rainbow and choose your own color!  The spirit day was awesome and colorful!
    • Kindness Challenge
      • Student Council kicked off our May kindness challenge.  Students have ideas to check off and practice during school, at home, and out in the community.
    • Pajama Day
      • Who doesn't love PJ Day!?  One more in May to finish out Student Council-sponsored events.
