GATE

All third-grade students are tested for GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) every year.  A parent may request testing for an older student during the district-wide window.  Students that are identified GATE receive adjusted instruction and assignments within their regular education classroom.  Students who are not GATE identified but have an aptitude for higher level thinking and projects may also benefit from this adjusted instruction.
