• Before and After Care

  • McKinley offers several before- and after-school care options for families.

    • BEFORE SCHOOL: For all McKinley families, drop-in morning care is available from 7:20 AM until 8:10 AM when the school gates open, in Room 14, for $5/day. No registration is necessary.
    • AFTER SCHOOL:
      • For our TK/K families, we offer McKinley Care on days that school is in session from the end of the school day until 5:30 PM. The cost is $250/month. For questions or enrollment, contact principal Gina Roberts at groberts@petk12.org
      • For students in grades 1-6, after care is offered on site through the Boys & Girls Club for $250/month. Visit the Boys & Girls Club page or Web site for more details, or contact director Oswaldo Angeles at oangeles@bgcsonoma-marin.org.
      • Students who qualify for the free- or reduced-price lunch program are eligible to receive scholarships through the district's Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP), which will waive the cost of care. If your child qualifies, contact Gina Roberts at groberts@petk12.org for further instructions for McKinley Care, or Oswaldo Angeles at oangeles@bgcsonoma-marin.org to receive a Boys & Girls Club discount code.
