Stress Reduction Resources
Stress is also known as the silent killer that may lead to emotions like depression, anger, sadness, and anxiety, just to name a few. Let’s remember to breathe and learn ways to manage our stress. Some stress is good, but too much may cause harm to health. Below are some helpful resources.
- NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) has information on stress and ways to reduce stress.
- Kaiser Permanente has stress reduction resources for members and non-members, including general information, audio recordings of mindfulness, articles, guided meditations from Calm, and more
- National Today gives information about National Stress Awareness Day.
- Petaluma Peer Recovery Center is working to build a community by fostering growth and recovery through connections with mental health peers.
