Resolution 2324-38

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF PETALUMA CITY ELEMENTARY AND PETALUMA JOINT UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICTS (“PETALUMA CITY SCHOOLS”), HONORING THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE CLASSIFIED SCHOOL EMPLOYEES TO QUALITY EDUCATION AND DECLARING THE WEEK OF MAY 19-25, 2024 AS
CLASSIFIED SCHOOL EMPLOYEES WEEK

WHEREAS, classified school employees provide valuable services to the schools and students of the Petaluma School Districts; and

WHEREAS, classified school employees contribute to the establishment and promotion of a positive instructional environment; and

WHEREAS, classified school employees employed by the Petaluma School Districts strive for excellence in all areas relative to the educational community; now

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Petaluma School Districts hereby recognize and wish to honor the contribution of the classified school employees to quality education in the State of California and in the Petaluma School Districts, and declare the week of May 19-25, 2024 as Classified School Employees Week in the Petaluma School Districts.

The foregoing resolution was introduced by Board Member Cloud who moved its adoption, seconded by Member Webster and adopted by the following vote:

WHEREUPON, the President declared the above resolution adopted and SO ORDERED this 23rd day of April 2024.
