• Sonoma County Schools Air Quality Guidance

The Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE) has worked with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, North Sonoma County Air Pollution Control District, and Sonoma County Department of Health Services to update Sonoma County air quality guidance for schools for the upcoming fire season.

One of the recommendations for ensuring cleaner air at school is to install and maintain HVAC air conditioning system with high-quality air filters that have medium or high efficiency. Petaluma City Schools currently uses the recommended MERV level for Sonoma County schools.

You can find more information including the current Air Quality Guidelines for Schools on SCOE's website.
