• Parent excusing student from PE:

    • Student brings signed note to student window before 8:15am
    • Parents may excuse a student for 3 class periods
    • Parent note doesn't automatically excuse a student from dressing for class
    • Students on modified or limited program are responsible for all class assignments

    *Please note: In accordance with California Ed. Code, a note from a physician is required if the student is to be excused from P.E. for longer than 3 days

  • Doctor excusing student from PE: 

    • Student brings note to student window before 8:15am
    • Note must include: 
      • current date
      • first and last name of student
      • specific reason for medical excuse
      • specific modification notes (if any)
    • Students on modified or limited program are responsible for all class assignments

    *Please note: The modified or limited program also applies to physician's notes.  If students have a sprain or a break, they may still dress and take part in what they are physically capable of handling.  Students should ask for a copy of the modified program from their physical education teacher.
